Be active in class and talk to her about how you can earn extra credit.
When you don’t get something, instead of taking up class time during class, ask after class or if you really don’t get it, ask if you can see your teacher at a certain time.
Just make your teacher feel like you do need her or his help.
Is it bad to ask Professor for extra credit?
In general, most professors will not respond that well to asking for extra credit. They will probably be more receptive if you suggest that the bad test grade was an anomaly and does not reflect your performance.
How does extra credit work?
When you designate an item or a category as Extra Credit, those items are not added to the total “out of” value for points possible in the Gradebook. If students earn points for extra credit items, those points are added on top of the total grade. Extra Credit indicates “bonus” items, or optional credit.
